Identification represents
a full set of female human chromosomes, adding a visceral sensibility
to the classification of the human body. Hair-embedded
paper
chromosomes are lifted by pins off the wall, and organized
into a karyotype with corresponding numbered map pins. The characteristics
of the body are signified through the translucent, wrinkle-like
properties of handmade abaca paper, with human hair growing
out
of it.
